Glengoyne is a unique distillery that distills in the Highlands and matures in the lowlands. While the regions are a big obsolete, it is the highland malt style. This cask is a sherry butt distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2017.

Overall - 6 - I enjoyed this dram just fine. It wasn't really what I expected. There was not very much sherry influence. If I had to guess blind, I would have thought ex-bourbon. The cake frosting throughout the dram was very pleasant. I couldn't pick up that much in complexity, but it is a pleasant dram to sip.
