Review #142 - North British 25
Grain - 25 - NCF- NCA - Sample ($70 at the local) - 49.9%
I have always been curious about these grain whiskies with the big age statements. Today I get to try one
Color - Ripe Corn
Nose - Wheat, vanilla, apples, Twizzlers
Palate - Vanilla, white grapes, grain
Finish - Medium Short - Vanilla, caramel, more vanilla
Overall - 5 - This to me tasted like a wheated bourbon. It was nice, potable, but really kind of boring. I would give NB another shot but I wasn't that impressed.
