Review #63: Blind - Auchentoshan Bartender‘s Malt

Orange Mystery
This is the forth mystery sample for me The first I High West Campfire on Jack Daniels Barrel Proof so clearly I am skilled at guessing. The second I guessed an ardbeg 10 on a Frog 10 so pretty close. My third, I guessed a Glenmorangie on an Irish whisky. What will number 4 bring?
Color - Amber
Nose - Stewed lemons, honey, vanilla
Taste - Lemon, vanilla, syrup, light body overall
Finish - Medium - Honey, lemon drops, with a bit of vanilla and spice
Overall - - This is a nice pleasant light fruity scotch. This is what I would like to come home to after a big garlicly dinner and enjoy.
Anconc - Highland - 12- CF - 43%-

Auchentoshan Bartender‘s Malt
Auchentoshan - Lowland -NCF - NCA - 47%
Overall rating 6- This is is a pleasant malt in line with Anconc. I would take Anconc over this but if I SbS, it may win

Rating system is price influenced as it is based on my shopping decisions when buying a bottle.
