Speyside - 11- NCF- NCA - Guessing $90 - 49.1%

Color - Russet

Nose - Vanilla, rock candy, marshmallow, orange peel, leather

Palate - Toffee, Candied apples, lemon zest, touch of raw oak, 
Finish - Medium - Figs, Aunt Jemima syrup, cane sugar

Overall - 6 - Not as sweet as I would expect from a PX cask but certainly sweet.  There is a bit of raw oak that is distracting in here, some sips I miss it, some sips hits big.  The nose was a great mix of sweet, citrus and funk.  I really wished that this dram brought this through for the whole dram.  Benrinnes continues to deliver interesting whisky.  Overall a drier PX whisky, good but not great.
