World Whisky #3: Redbreast 12 Cask Strength
Irish - 12 - NCF - NCA - $75 - 58.2%
Color - Tawny
Nose - Sweetness, candied orange zest, vanilla, floral notes
Palate - Peaches, sweetness, caramel, prunes
Finish - Medium - Vanilla, marshmallow, malt , cinnamon
Overall - 7 - This is nice, sweet cask strength dram. This actually reminds me a lot of Blue Label, anybody else feel that way? It probably would be better priced at $60 with the other entry level cask strength whiskey. I really struggle to see myself buying this at full price.
EDIT- apparently Binny's gouging on this and it is $60 in the rest of the civilized world. Bumped up to a 7.
