Review #153: 2005 Exclusive Malts Ledaig 11 Year

Tobermory - 11 - NCF - NCA - $95 - 57.6%

Ledaig is the peated line of the Tobermory distillary.  I don't have much info on this bottle besides the basics on the label.
Color - Old Gold - a bit of orange to it
Nose - Peat and brine, sugar in the raw, smoked oysters, lemon rind, aerosol
Palate - Citrus, smoke, honey, pepper, brine
Finish -Medium - Bonfire embers, honey, lemon juice, pepper
Overall - 6.5 - This is a a solid Legaig and very much in line with the standard character of the distillary.  I am enjoying this, it is balanced, has a great nose and enjoyable.  I think a little vanilla or white fruit in these would really take this to the next level.  This is a nice bottle but I don't think that I would buy another bottle.
