Review #148 - Laphroaig 15 200th edition

Islay - 15 - Chill Filtered - Color added - Sample ($80 at the local) - 46%

Color - Old Gold
Nose - Iodine, apples, honey, geraniums - heavy on the fruit and iodine
Palate - Iodine, apples, malt, honey
Finish - Medium - Smoke, ashes, honey, white grapes
Overall - 6.5 - This is a lovely dram, not complex but more balanced than the frog 10.  Of course Frog dies and filters it, but still has a lot more balance than the 10.  Having said that, I would probably buy Quarter Cask over this.
