Bourbon/Rye Review #12: Rebel Yell 10

Heaven Hill - 10 Years - Bourbon - 68C/20W/12M - Sample ($50)  - 50%

Color - Light Caramel
Nose - Corn, vanilla, brown sugar, maple,
Taste - Sweet caramel, barrel char, red hot
Mouthfeel - Medium
Finish - Caramel, vanilla, corn syrup, cinnamon, spice,
Finish Length - Medium
Overall -4/7 - This to me is a decent wheater but I just get a little too much cinnamon for my palate.  While it wasn't as over the top as Old Grand Dad 114, it just was distracting enough to make me not think about buying in a bar.

Rating system is price influenced as it is based on my shopping decisions when buying a bottle.
7 Best in Show

5 Worth picking up a bottle at MSRP

2 Whiskey on the rocks
1 Flawed/astringent - I won't be drinking it again
