Irish - NAS - NCF - Malt & Grain with Rum Cask Finish - Sample ($35 at the local) - 46% ABV

Color - Pale straw

Nose - Vanilla, lemon, apples, allspice

Taste - Vanilla, cereal, porridge

Finish - Medium - Brown sugar, spice, burnt orange

Overall - 7 - This is a nice dram for the price. It is isn't complex but it is nice enough. I could see myself ordering this at a bar if I am in the mood. The dram has sugar notes but is not sweet at all. Based on this dram, I could see myself exploring up Teeling's vertical.
