Review 77: Arran Machrie moor 5th Edition - Blind

I am feeling lucky tonight so lets bring on a mystery dram. edit - after tasting don't feel lucky.
Color - Pale Straw
Nose - Apples, honey, candied fruit drops, lemon zest
Taste - Honey, lime, vanilla, a touch of malt a touch of wood
Finish - Medium - Vanilla, lemon, a bit of orange chocolate
Overall - - I am really not getting a lot from this. I am not sure if I have palate fatigue or if there is just not much going on.
I have never had but lets say Tamdhu - Highland - 10 years - CF - 40%

Post Reveal
Arran Machrie moor 5th Edition
Island - NCF - 46% - $80
Overall rating 5.5 - there just wasn't a while lot going on in this dram to keep me interested. It was pleasant and easy drinking. I got zero peat notes, which is strange as some funk or smoke would have helped

Rating system is price influenced as it is based on my shopping decisions when buying a bottle.
