Cask Islay - NCF - NCA - $55 - 48%

Color - Deep Gold

Nose - Rum, raisins, oil, toffee and some light floral

Taste - That Laphroig fruit, sweetness, and some cereal

Finish - Cigar ash with a punch of iodine. Lovely peet but not overwhelming, dryness strong enough to get my salivating. Nice medium long finish

Overall - 8 This is a great daily dram. It is classic Laphroig without being unbalanced like the 10. It pulls back on the peat but delivers with balance
